We fully agree: you don’t want stuff you don’t want, and we don’t want to send you stuff you don’t want.
As a 100% volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit, we just want to curl and have fun. We’ve created a few e-mail lists so that people who want info about off-ice social events, league, learn to curl classes, etc. can get them. If you get on one of those lists and don’t want to be on them anymore, and you’re having trouble unsubscribing, just let us know and we’ll fix it.
Please keep in mind that if you attended an event in the past 6 months or so, you may get a one-off email about league or a bonspiel or something. If there’s no unsubscribe link at the bottom, you’re not on any formal “list.” Those emails are directly sent to you individually by an actual person who thinks you might be interested because curling brings people joy and you’ve clearly indicated that curling is of interest to you by attending an event. Please be civil if/when you reply. Our volunteers work hard, are good natured, and have feelings. Feelings that get hurt by mean emails.
